Ramadan Prayer and Iftar Meal
Meet My Religious Neighbor - April 5 Sunset (magrib) prayer, breaking of the fast, and iftar meal (delicious Bosnian food) with the people of Ezan. To know: Participants will remove shoes upon entering. Women are asked to cover their heads with a scarf, both men and women wear modest clothing (covering to ankle and wrist). Hear the Kirtan hymns and Ardas prayer. Join the community for the Langar meal (free vegetarian Punjabi food)! To know: participants will remove shoes and both men and women cover their heads. The community has scarfs and kerchiefs to borrow or you can bring your own. Please wear modest, comfortable clothes--most sit on the floor but chairs are available for those who need them. 2024 Iowa Interfaith Youth Leadership Camp
The Des Moines Area Religious Council and The Comparison Project at Drake University are proud to co-host the Interfaith Youth Leadership Camp July 10-14 at Drake University.
